Although Lithuania is a small country occupying 65,300 square kilometers with 3,5 million inhabitants, it has a unique diversity in all respects. If you choose to take a trip to the North East of the country you will find yourselves in a land of hills and lakes. Here you will enjoy plains, forests and rivers. You might also be amazed that the Lithuanian language here is different.
We are offering you to get to know a part of Northern Lithuania and to see how the local Lithuanians work, celebrate, pray.
On this trip you will see the Hill of Crosses, a unique place which the pope John Paul II visited by in 1993. You will get to know the history of the Siauliai city as well.
You will also see a magnificent Burbiskiai manor, which was mentioned in the history in 17 century for the first time. A picturesque park by the manor, occupying 28 hectares is famous for its ponds with 15 islets in them. You will take a tour to Kleboniskis village exhibition and see village buildings typical to 19 c. and the beginning of 20 century, some of which are still inhabited today, have an evening event with musicians and overnight in the manor itself.
